The SSDA youth group, trained under the Empowering Youth Through Economic Literacy program in Weligama, facilitated by Veenadari Lakshika Jayakody and organized by Power of Play Pvt Ltd, created a unique clown show centered on debt management—exploring how debt should be used wisely. Over the span of a month, they performed six shows across Matara, including performances in Weligama, the youth center at Akurassa, and SOS Children’s Village in Galle. The shows effectively brought financial literacy to local communities through engaging humor and performance art.
